Trevor Baker Will Join Field At Attica For Season Opener

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / T-REV PERFORMANCE – SHREVE, OH – Planning to enter action for the first time since his visit to The Dirt Track at Las Vegas with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in late-February, Shreve, Ohio’s Trevor Baker will get back into the swing of things this Friday evening, March 30, with a visit to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio.

The season-opening program at the home of Ohio’s Finest Racing will give Baker an opportunity to test and tune before resuming Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 commitments on Friday, April 6, at Atomic Speedway.

“The only way we are going to improve is if we keep logging laps,” Trevor Baker explained, who will hit the road full-time with the All Stars in 2018. “We are a young team, but we’re excited for the opportunity to travel this season. We’ll get a chance to work out some kinks on Friday during our visit to Attica. We’ll be there on a few occasions with the All Stars this year, so we may as well get over there and try some things. Hopefully the weather cooperates.”

Baker, pilot of the Bakers Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/H&S Concrete/Mid Ohio Diesel/Amsoil Stone Creek Lube/No. 45 sprint car, will enter the upcoming weekend with five starts to his credit in 2018; three against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 and two against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. Baker qualified for two main events out of the five contested programs, also earning a dash start with the All Stars at Bubba (Fla.) Raceway Park after finishing second during his respective heat race.

“We’ve been having a lot of fun. That’s the most important part,” Baker said. “All of this wouldn’t be possible without the help from my family and all of our dedicated partners. We are definitely ready to get the busy section of our season rolling.”
