Can-Am’s 2017 Banquet To Be Held February 3rd In Alexandria Bay

Story By: ROBERT THURSTON / CAN-AM SPEEDWAY – LAFARGEVILLE, NY – Caprara’s Can-Am Motorsports Park will honor it’s 2017 top drivers on February 3rd at the beautiful Bonnie Castle Resort in Alexandria Bay NY.

The go-kart racers will have their banquet from 3:00 to 5:00 when top drivers in all divisions will receive trophies for their efforts last season.

The banquet will start with a buffet of pizza, wings, salad, soda and coffee followed the introduction of Tyler Bartlett, the new owner of the Can-Am Speedway. Tyler will tell everyone of his plans for 2018 and beyond.

The banquet will end with the awards presentation. Those drivers with 75% attendance will receive a trophy.

The top drivers from all five weekly divisions that competed on Saturday nights will then make their way into the banquet hall for their 2017 awards dinner. Social hour will begin at 6:00 with dinner being served at 7:00.

The evening buffet will consist of roast beef, chicken, pasta, salad, dessert and coffee. Following dinner, Tyler will give a short run down of his plans for 2018 and changes that have already been made at the Speedway.

We also hope to have a couple of guest speakers to address the crowd about some of the great things planned for the coming season.

The evening will conclude with the presentation of awards to the top drivers in each division. Those drivers with at least 75% attendance will receive point fund money and awards presented by the Caprara family.

All reservations must be received no later than January 29th, there will be no tickets sold at the door.

Note: Drivers must attend the banquet to receive point fund money and awards.
