Seekonk Speedway Schedule Released For 2018

Column By: MATTHEW WIERNASZ / RPW – SEEKONK, MA – Seekonk Speedway will offer a variety of events for fans heading into the 2018 season with Saturday night racing, Fast Fridays, and Thrill Shows.

The first event of the 2018 season will kickoff with NASCAR Whelen All American Series opening day on Sunday, May 6. The first thrill show of the year will happen on Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 26. The thrill shows will also happen on Saturday, July 7 and two weeks later with the Monster Trucks on Saturday, July 21 with two shows. There will be a mid-summer one on Saturday, August 4 along with a Labor Day weekend event on Saturday, September 1. The annual Pumpkin Smash Spooktacular on Saturday, October 13 and the final one with the Nutcracker Thrill Show on Saturday, November 17.

The first Fast Friday event will happen on Friday, June 1. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will make a return on Saturday, June 2. Open Wheel Wednesday will return with the Tri-Track Open Modified Series along with the Boston Louie Memorial for the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites on Wednesday, June 27.

The third annual U.S. Nationals Pro Stock/Super Late Model 200 will return on Wednesday, July 18. Championship night for all divisions will happen on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22. The DAV will return as the Fast Friday divisions will run their event at the end of September. The DAV will return for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series divisions on Saturday, October 6 with the Fall Classic 150 for the Pro Stocks.

The Haunted 100 will return for the Tri-Track Open Modified Series on Saturday, October 27.
