Fonda Receives Additional Super DIRTcar Series Date For 2018
Story By: FONDA SPEEDWAY – FONDA, NY – With the 2018 schedule still in the process of being finalized, the Fonda Speedway is pleased to announce that we will once again have the Super DIRTcar Series visit the “Track of Champions” in 2018, twice.
The Super DIRTcar Series will first roll into town on Wednesday, August 1st for our annual “Jack Johnson Tribute” night The Jack, and will come back again on Saturday, September 22nd for the “Thunder Along The Mohawk” weekend finale.
“We’re extremely excited to have another date at Fonda Speedway added to the Super DIRTcar Series schedule” stated Fonda promoter, Pete Demitraszek. “The fact that we were able to add our Jack Johnson tribute to the Super DIRTcar Series schedule makes the event more special.”
In addition to the two Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified events, the 358 Modified Super DIRTcar Series, Sportsman Super DIRTcar Series and Pro-Stock Super DIRTcar series will also return to Fonda in 2018.
The 358 modifieds and sportsman will anchor the Friday portion of our “Thunder Along the Mohawk” weekend while the Pro-Stocks will be in action on Saturday along with the Big Blocks.
