Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – With his 2017 Central Pennsylvania campaign officially in the books, ending the year as Pennsylvania’s finest by claiming the Central PA Sprint Series presented by Hoseheads.com point championship, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich will now switch focus, as well as race teams, and prep for his final appearance of the 2017 season, period.

Dietrich, who will pilot Tom Buch’s familiar No. 13 during his trip south of the Mason-Dixon line, will join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Thursday through Saturday, November 2-4. The Textron Off Road World Finals will highlight action at the Charlotte-area facility, complete with a full night of qualifying time trials, following by back-to-back nights of action.

“We are all excited to get back to Charlotte. I think we are more than capable of putting together two solid nights down there. The speed and the ability to win is there. We just need to lay down four good laps on Thursday and get ourselves in position early during the heat races. That sets the entire tone for the whole weekend,” Danny Dietrich explained. “I can’t thank Tom Buch enough for this opportunity. We got him an All Star win earlier this year. I think we can get it done again this weekend.”

“Double-D” will enter the weekend with 13 victories on the season, 12 within the confines of Central Pennsylvania. Dietrich’s Central PA Sprint Series presented by Hosheads.com championship will pay $6,000; a first-ever feat for the Gettysburg native.
