Ransomville’s King Of The Hill Weekend Just Three Weeks Away

Story By: STEVE PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – When the calendar turns to September, it means that it is just three weeks away from the annual King of the Hill Weekend presented by Investors Service, set for September 15th and 16th at the Ransomville Speedway.

King of the Hill Weekend will kick off on Friday, September 15th The Sid Jeffery Memorial will take place for the Sportsman, making it a lucrative two day event for the Sportsman. The rest of the racing card on Friday will feature Street Stock qualifying, plus the 4 Bangers and Novice Sportsman. The Gippsters Collision 4 Bangers and Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman will be crowning their 2017 track champions on Friday night of King of the Hill Weekend.

On Saturday, September 16th, the drivers of the Investors Service Sportsman and the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks will each be competing in 100-lap feature events with $1000 to win on the line. The 4 Bangers and Novice Sportsman will also be on the card!

Officials are putting the final touches on the rules package for King of the Hill Weekend. All DIRTcar legal Sportsman are eligible to come and race against the best Sportsman drivers in the region. Rules for the Street Stocks are still being finalized and will be released in the coming days. Rules are available online at www.ransomvillespeedway.com
