Michael Powers Through Tough Weekend In Central PA

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / MICHAEL MOTORSPORTS – FREMONT, OH – T.J. Michael’s trip to Central Pennsylvania with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions ended in frustration, highlighting the four-race stretch with just one main event start which took shape at the Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville on Thursday, August 17. Despite his frustrating results, Michael has already put the weekend behind him, now searching for ways to end the month of August on top at Atomic Speedway.

“It wasn’t a great weekend for our team, but we were amongst some great company,” T.J. Michael explained about his trip to Central Pennsylvania. “The Posse are tough. It’s not easy for anyone to go out there and run, let alone a second year traveler like myself. We struggled during qualifying which really put us behind for the rest of the night. We were a little frustrated at first, but we’ve already put that behind us. We’re looking ahead to Atomic Speedway.”

T.J. Michael and the Michael Motorsports/Advanced Cast Stone/Fremont Fence Company/Kear’s Speed Shop/Shell Shock/Hinchman Suits/Big D’s Pizza of Fremont and Clyde/Crown Battery/No. 8M operation will now make the journey back to Atomic (OH) Speedway, set to enter the two-day Open Wheel Championships worth a grand total of $15,000; $5,000 on Friday, August 25, and $10,000 on Saturday, August 26.

During his most recent visit to the Chillicothe, Ohio, high banks, the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael charged from 25th on the feature grid to finish 16th during the Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Cometic Gasket finale on June 24.
