Story By: ROBBY KNOWLES / AIRBORNE PARK SPEEDWAY – PLATTSBURGH, NY – The 2017 racing season is quickly coming to a close at Airborne Park Speedway. Just two point counting events remain for the Egglefield Ford DIRTcar Modifieds and Fidelis Care DIRTcar Sportsman.

This Saturday’s racing card is McBride Chevrolet & Subaru fireworks and “Salute to our Heroes” Military Night presented by John W. Sheehan & Sons Excavation. Speedway Illustrated Publisher, Karl Frederickson will be on hand, turning laps in the Jeffords Steel, Huntley Trucking, Begor’s Supply, Gisioa’s Wine & Spirits No. 19 backup machine out of the Jamy Begor stable.

The North Country Honor Flight will also be on hand as they will take part in a ceremony to start the night in our post parade. Between 10 and 15 members will be a part of the ceremony and then enjoy the night of racing.

The rescheduled fireworks presentation from the beginning of July will take place at the conclusion of the racing card.
