Outlaw Mods & NY6A Micro Sprints At Freedom Motorsports Park Friday

Story By: CHARLIE LANGLOIS / FREEDOM MOTORSPORTS PARK – DELEVAN, NY – The Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds will be joined this week by the second visit of the NY6A 600 Micro Sprint Tour on Danny Heineman & Sons Night at Freedom Motorsports Park. The Tidds Towing DIRTcar Sportsman, Pioneer Ford Street Stocks and the Danny Heineman & Sons Mini Stocks round out the card. The green flag is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Friday July 7.

The Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds have had three winners in four events with two shows lost to rain. Shayne Pierce of St Catherines, Ontario is the only driver to take two victories while Brad Rapp of Meadville, Pennsylvania and Billy Van Pelt of Westfield, Pennsylvania have one win a piece. Who will be the first New Yorker to take down an Outlaw Modified victory?

The NY6A Micro Sprints were last at Freedom on June 9 and it was Mickey Ciliberto of Gasport who captured the 20 lap feature. They will also join the Patriot Sprints on the final night of the season, September 8.

On Friday July 14, Yorkshire Battery Night will showcase the mighty ULMS Murphy’s Logging Super Late Models in the rescheduled third annual Ron Baker Memorial. The Outlaw Modifieds will be off on July 14. Also, mark your calendars for Friday August 18, as the rained out ULMS Murphy’s Logging Super Late Model show from May 26 will be run that night.

Bring the family out for a great night of racing at the area’s fastest 1/3 mile clay oval. Grandstands open at 6:00 pm and racing starts at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission is only $14, $13 for Seniors, $7 for Students (9-15) and kids under 8 are admitted free.
