Deer Creek, Cedar Lake Coming Up For Brent Marks & Team

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRENT MARKS RACING – NEW RICHMOND, WI – In hopes of continuing a trend of recent top-ten finishes, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks will enter a trio of World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series programs during the upcoming weekend, one of which a make-up feature a Deer Creek (MN) Speedway on Thursday evening, all capped off with a two-day visit to the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, on July 7-8.

Marks, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19, has been noticeably consistent during the last several weeks and now finds himself 11th in the overall World of Outlaws championship standings, earning 11 top-ten finishes on the season including a recent tenth place performance at Dakota State Fair (SD) Speedway. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native is a mere 52 points outside of the top-ten in the World of Outlaws standings.

“Things are starting to click for us and it feels good,” Marks explained. “This is a great time of the year to be clicking. The World of Outlaws schedule in July and early August is filled with some pretty big events with big paydays. We also get to return home and race in front of our home fans. There is nothing we would love more than to find our stride and contend for a win in front of our home fans.”

“The Greatest Show On Dirt” will turn back east beginning Tuesday evening, July 11, when Brent Marks and the rest of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series visits Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, for the annual Brad Doty Classic.
