Super DIRT Week Returning To MAVTV
Story By: SPEED SPORT – MOORESVILLE, NC – SPEED SPORT is partnering with DIRTcar Racing to bring NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLVI from Oswego Speedway to MAVTV for the second consecutive year.
SPEED SPORT will produce five hours of coverage from the 46th annual NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week from New York’s historic Oswego Speedway as part of Suzuki presents SPEED SPORT.
Included in that coverage will be a two-hour prime-time special to air on Thanksgiving night featuring the Bud Light 300 for the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds.
One-hour telecasts from NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week will feature the Salute the Troops 100 for DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, the Sportsman Chevy Performance 50 Championship featuring the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds and the Pro Stock 30 for the DIRTcar Pro Stocks.
Super DIRT Week, scheduled for Oct. 4-8, will be held at Oswego Speedway for the second consecutive year. After 44 years of running NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week at the New York State Fairgrounds, the event found a new home at Oswego Speedway last year.
Oswego Speedway, known far and wide as the “Steel Palace,” was covered with more than 500 truck loads of dirt in advance of NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLV. Stewart Friesen won the Super DIRTcar Series portion of Super DIRT Week XLV, his fifth victory in the annual event.
Other feature winners last year were Tim Fuller (358 Modifieds), Dave Marcuccilli (Sportsman Modifieds) and Rob Yetman (Pro Stocks).
