RPW’s “Hot Mic” With Danny Creeden: Battle Of The Bullring

Column By: RYAN HILL / RPW – WURTBORO, NY – Accord Speedway, the ¼ mile dirt track in The Catskills will be hosting the Short Track Super Series (STSS) for the track’s annual Battle of the Bullring.

Monday will be the fifth installment of the event, an event that will see the STSS Modified drivers battling for the $5,000 to win payday. One Such Driver is Dan Creeden, the winner of the first Battle of the Bullring.

DAN ON THE BATTLE OF THE BULLRING:
“My best memory from the Battle of the Bullring is being the first winner of the race. It was definitely one of the coolest trophies I have ever won!”

“My worst memory would be the results of the last two years races. In 2016 we had a good run, and challenged for the lead, but faded in the last few laps.”

“Being one of our home tracks (Accord Speedway) it is always good when we can have a home track advantage on a touring series. Accord really lends its hand to the Short Track Super Series style of racing. There is always something going on.”

“We look forward to this race every year to see if we can win it again.”

Dan and the 16X team will be ready to go when the Battle of the Bullring hits Accord Speedway Monday, July 3rd. Qualifying begins at 7pm.
