New Equipment, New Hopes For Mike Keeler In 2017

Story By: RYAN HILL / MIKE KEELER MOTORSPORTS – WEST LEBANON, NY – The pits at Lebanon Valley Speedway were filled with race cars and crews eager to see their cars out on the track for the afternoon of practice after a long winter of toiling in their shops, and one such driver was Mike Keeler.

Keeler , the driver out of Danbury, CT, showed up at the valley of speed with a new look for 2017. The Montanari Fuel #55 looked sharp with a completely re designed paint scheme on the TEO PRO CAR the team purchased from Lebanon Valley racer Eddie Marshall this winter.

Once practice started it was time for Keeler to finally see what his new chassis and fresh Szegedy Performance Big Block power plant had to offer after the long hours of putting the car together this off-season, and Mike was pleased with how the day went.

” I would say Saturday’s practice went very well.” Keeler adds “We were able to shake the car down with no major issues. The motor ran great and by the end of the day I felt very comfortable in the new car. I am very excited to be in a TEO chassis this season, and I really think we will be a threat to win the season.

Mike Keeler Motorsports opens their season this Saturday April 22nd at Lebanon Valley Speedway, where Mike will be a weekly competitor in the Big Block Modified Class.
