We are hoping for great things this season. A perfect scenario would be to kick off the year with a victory during the Icebreaker. That is what we are working for.”
Cory Haas is certainly no stranger to competition at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway, finishing fourth in the final track championship standings twice during the last three seasons. Similar to years past, Haas will circle between events at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway during his upcoming campaign, with additional plans to visit surrounding facilities such as Port Royal Speedway and Susquehanna Speedway; a schedule boasting 60-65 events during the next eight months.
“I haven’t been this excited to race in a long time,” Cory Haas said. “We are heading into the weekend pressure-free. We know we have the potential to be fast right from the drop of the gate, so we’ll put that mentality to good use on Saturday. This sport is all about momentum and having a positive attitude. We plan to make both of those a reality right from the start.”
