Spencer Bayston & Co. Add To CJB Motorsports’s Stellar Season With Eldora Speedway Effort
Story By: NATALIE JACKSON / CJB MOTORSPORTS – CARLISLE, PA – Spencer Bayston took his first turn behind the wheel of the CJB Motorsports #5 machine as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series returned to Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio.
On the opening night, the series battle weather issues and only hot laps and time trials occurred after rains had delayed the show on Friday, May 6th. The remainder of the show was run Saturday, May 7th.
Bayston timed in 4th, finished 2nd in his heat race and 6th in the dash. He then finished 23rd in the feature after a mechanical issue in the rear end.
For the second event, Bayston timed in 15th, finished 4th in his heat race and 16th in the feature.
Veteran Paul McMahan will return to the seat of the RE Pierson Constructions, Nyce, Crete and Landis Block and Concrete, Ecynbro Trucking, C&S Lawn and Landscape and High Performance Lubricants #5 as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series makes its way to Lincoln Speedway near Abbottsown, Pa. on Wednesday, May 12th. From there, the team will head to I-96 Speedway near Lake Odessa, Mich. on Friday, May 14th and the Dirt Oval at Route 66 on Saturday, May 15th.
