Ryan Heath Heading South For DIRTcar Sportsman Events At Lake View Motor Speedway
Story By: DANI SEIPP / RYAN HEATH RACING – HUNTINGTON, MA – Ryan Heath Racing has announced their plans for the start of the 2021 season!
The team will make the 800-mile haul to Nichols, SC for the DIRTcar South of The Border Showdown at Lake View Motor Speedway January 28-30.
This will be the team’s first race outside of the New York State border and the team could not be more ready to take the show on the road!
“With the 2020 season so limited due to COVID-19, I’m super excited to start off the 2021 season at the South of The Border Showdown! We have been working with Troyer Dirt to advance our program and I can’t wait to get in the car and test out some new ideas! Last year we had some struggles, but we are looking to start 2021 with some momentum down south.” ~ Ryan Heath, Driver 6r
Lake View Motor Speedway is a 4/10-mile speedway in South Carolina that will host Northeast Modifieds for the first time in their history the last weekend in January. With over $25,000 up for grabs, drivers from across the northeast are leaping at the chance to get some seat time while the snow still flies at home. With the challenges that COVID-19 brought to racing across the country, but particularly in the northeast, events like this are gaining traction for the 2021 season.
The event will be covered by Speed51.TV and will be taped for a future episode of “Short Track America” on MAVTV bringing additional exposure for our Northeast Mods. We cannot wait to see Ryan and his competitors represent the sportsman on a national stage.
