Operation Green Flag: Mission Merrittville Speedway On June 27th
Story By: STEVE PETTY / MERRITTVILLE SPEEDWAY – THOROLD, ONT – The Merrittville Speedway will be returning to racing on Saturday, June 27 as the Action Sprint Tour will be joining the RM Racing Lubricants/Rick’s Delivery DIRTcar Sportsman and the Central Fabricating/Glo & Go Tanning 4 Cylinders.

The program including heat races will begin at 7:00 pm sharp and can be seen live on GForceTV.net for FREE! On the track will be the exciting first race of the 2020 season for the Action Sprint Tour. The crate sprints have always provided great racing at Merrittville. Joining the card will be the RM Racing Lubricants/Rick’s Delivery DIRTcar Sportsman and the Central Fabricating/Glo and Go Tanning 4 Cylinders. Drivers in the DIRTcar Sportsman division will be receiving Hoosier Racing Tire Weekly Points. As part of the Sportsman event, RM Racing Lubricants will be receiving a case of Maxima Full Synthetic 10w30. RM Racing Lubricants is the Master Distributor for Maxima Racing Oil’s Performance Auto division in Canada. Both the Sportsman and 4 Cylinders provide three and sometimes four-wide racing around the racy Thorold, Ontario speedplant.
Calling the action on GForceTV.net will be longtime Canadian announcers Greg Calnan and Adam Ross in the booth with Clinton Geoffrey handling the action trackside. Look for Merrittville announcers Steven Petty and Jonathan Howe be incorporated into the program to bring the Merrittville feel to the fans watching from home. The race will also be re-aired on REV TV Canada (formerly MAV TV Canada) at a later date.
