RPW Column: Friesen Confirmed For STSS Virtual Exhibition Event
RPW Column By: DYLAN FRIEBEL / RPW – SPRAKERS, NY – 19 Time Short Track Super Series winner and current NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series driver Stewart Friesen has thrown his hat into the ring for the ‘Quarantine 50’ exhibition simulation, race series promoter Brett Deyo Confirmed on Thursday. He will look to compete in the 50 Lap event on Sunday hosted from the Virtual Williams Grove Speedway on iRacing’s PC racing simulation software.
Friesen who is the most winningest driver ever on the series in its 82 event history will look to take home the “Quarantine 50.” He will have a guaranteed starting spot as any series regular who wants to compete will be given the chance.
This provides the fan the chance to race against their favorite or least favorite driver and those to whom they look up to. Be on the lookout for more drivers to be announced in the lead up to the event which is being presented by Teo Pro Car. It will be hosted at 5:30pm on Sunday March 22nd, starting with heat races as only 20 cars will make the A-Main field.
