Dirt Track Heroes Show Closes Busy Three-Day Weekend; Event Planned For 2021 At Palmer Park Mall
Story By: JUSTIN BELTRAME / DIRT TRACK HEROES – EASTON, PA – The 13th Annual Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Car Show at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton PA is now history and the event was a huge success.
A strong crowd attended the three day show that opened on Friday, March 6 and continued through March 8. Over 85 cars filled the Palmer Park Mall and numerous activities were presented to include a Tire Change Competition, the Premio Sausage Eating Challenge, Slot Car Racing, RC Car Racing and a long list of racing celebrity interviews with special guests and racing videos going on throughout the Dirt Track Heroes Show Room.
“We have a perfect working relationship with the management team of the Palmer Park Mall and we are excited to say that the Dirt Track Heroes event will be returning to the Easton, PA Mall in 2021”, stated show coordinator Justin Beltrame. All the food locations in the Mall were especially busy and the buzz for the Mall merchants was especially positive. Looking to the show next year, we hope to further engage many if not all the stores to get more involved in the event.
The event honored many including legendary modified driver/promoter Doug Hoffman, Steve and Ed Pados along with Billy Tanzosh being recognized by the Mayor of Nazareth. One of the event highlights was the big turnout for the stars of Dorney Park Speedway.
The Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Car Show will expand to fully utilize the Show Room (formerly BON-TON). We have early verbal commitments from the Flemington Historical Society and the Tri-State Organization to be part of this event in 2021. These two groups bring so much to the event and we are thrilled that they are looking to be part of the 2021 edition of Dirt Track Heroes.
