Scott Bloomquist Pockets $15,000 Gobbler 100 At Cochran Motor Speedway

Information By: COCHRAN MOTOR SPEEDWAY – COCHRAN, GA – Scott Bloomquist was just trying to keep up with his teammate Chris Madden Saturday at Cochran Motor Speedway.

Madden has been on fire this season for Team Zero Racing, so Scott wanted to join in on the fun, and he did just that. Bloomquist passed Dale McDowell for the lead on lap 11 and stayed out front for the final 65 circuits to win Saturday’s Gobbler 100, taking home $15,000 for just his third victory of the year.

Bloomquist finished ahead of Brandon Overton who came home second while McDowell slipped to third after leading early. Michael Page, who won Friday’s $5,000 weekend opener, finished fourth and Spencer Hughes completed the top five.
