Short Track Super Series Firecracker 50 Returns To Fonda For 2020
Story By: FONDA SPEEDWAY – FONDA, NY – We commented earlier this week on writing a book for the 2019 racing season in a recent post, and believe the 1st chapter would be the 2019 Firecracker 50 in July.
A night we could not have scripted any better if we tried. From the pageantry, the MAVTV taping, the last lap, 4th turn pass on Matt Sheppard by Stewart Friesen for the $10,000 payday, and that iconic photo by JB Photography of the fans in the stands ON THEIR FEET as the two drag raced to the checkers!
On Wednesday July 1st, 2020 we hope to recreate that magic with the running of the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco Racing!
All the stars & cars will be in attendance as the series makes its 2nd trip to the famed Fonda Speedway 1/2 mile!
