Ransomville Speedway Ready To Roll Into Syracuse For Motorsports Expo
Story By: DAVE BUCHANAN / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – The Syracuse Motorsports Exposition and Trade Show is an annual rite of late winter for race fans across the Northeast. Speedways, sanctioning bodies, racers and manufacturers show off what’s new for the upcoming season to create some buzz before Mother Nature relinquishes her icy cold grasp on the region.
Members of the Ransomville Speedway staff will hit the road next week for the 33rd Syracuse Motorsports Expo at the Center of Progress Building located on the New York State Fairgrounds on March 9 and 10. Expo attendees will be able to get their hands on the 2019 Ransomville Speedway season schedule as well as their first look at 2019 merchandise. More importantly they will get to see the #99 Sportsman of Mike Martin, Jordan Moden’s Street Stock and Brayden James’s go-kart. All three vehicles will be part of the Ransomville Speedway booth inside the Expo.
“We look forward to heading to the Syracuse Motorsports Expo every year,” said Jenn Martin, Ransomville Speedway General Manager, “it gives us a chance to catch up with fans who are familiar with our speedway and reach out to new ones that haven’t been to the Big R before.” “It’s also an opportunity to meet with our partners at DIRTCar and World Racing Group and promoters from other DIRTCar-sanctioned facilities.”
Show hours for the Syracuse Motorsports Expo are Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 10 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. Admission prices are $13 for adults and $5 for kids aged 6-12.
The preseason continues for Ransomville Speedway with the annual Speedway Mall Car Show at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara USA the weekend of April 5-7. Highlights of the show include a meet & greet with 2019 Miss Ransomville Speedway contestants on Friday evening, a kids coloring contest all day Saturday, driver autograph session on Saturday at 6 p.m. followed by the 2019 Miss Ransomville Speedway contest.
