Raabe Returning To Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway For 2019 Season
Story By: PLATTSBURGH AIRBORNE SPEEDWAY – PLATTSBURGH, NY – The 2017 358-Modified champion is set to return to Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway for the 2019 racing season.
Raabe returns in 2019 after finishing second in last season’s point standings, behind St. Hyacinthe, PQ native, Steve Bernier.
Raabe resides in Alexandria, ON and has a total of 27 championships, 162 wins and three Mr. DIRT titles in his stock car racing career. Last season, he collected three wins and 10 top five finishes in Plattsburgh.
Unlike the start of last season, this year, Raabe will come in as an underdog.
“Our program wasn’t 100% where we wanted it to be last season,” Raabe said. “We definitely have our work cut out for us, especially with the strength of the field this season.”
The season is set to kickoff on April 27 with a 50 lap, $2,000 to win event for the Egglefield Ford 358-Modifieds.
“We are excited to support Robby Knowles in his first season as a Promoter at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway,” Raabe added.
