More Sponsors Return To Support Ransomville Speedway This Season
Story By: DAVE BUCHANAN / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – A trio of Niagara County businesses are returning to Ransomville Speedway as motorsports marketing partners for the 2019 racing season as Scott Joy Trucking, Modern Corporation and Niagara Frontier Publications have signed on as race night sponsors.
Scott Joy Trucking of Lyndonville, N.Y. will help present Fireworks Night on Friday, June 28. Opening in 1989, Scott Joy Trucking is a freight shipping and trucking company located at 1661 Blood Road in Lyndonville. Nick Joy will be back at the “Big R” in 2019 piloting the Scott Joy Trucking #12J in the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds. Joy has one career 358 Modified feature win at Ransomville coming back in August 2016.
Modern Corporation presents the return of the GRIT Sportsman Series to the “Big R” on Friday, July 19. The GRIT Series made one previous appearance at Ransomville in 2015 when former track champion Cody McPherson captured the main event. The Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds, Ki-Po Chevrolet Street Stocks and Gippster’s Collision Mini Stock will also be in action. The 2019 racing season at Ransomville Speedway kicks off on Friday, April 26 with Test, Tune & Time Night presented by VP Racing Fuels. The 62nd season opener takes place on Friday, May 3. The speedway office is now open throughout the week for racers and fans to purchase 2019 season memberships and season tickets.
