Column By: ROBERT SYMONDS / RPW – BATAVIA, OH – One event and two races now completed at the Golden Isles Speedway for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. They will now head past the Georgia-Florida state line to push further into their 2019 season schedule.
Starting February 4th, the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Series will be at East Bay Raceway Park for the 43rd Annual Winternationals. Heading into six nights of racing, ending on Saturday February 9th, Earl Pearson Jr holds on to a small point leader margin. Only 30 points separate the Hurricane and Jonathan Davenport.
Last season, the winners were mixed however that week 3 names stood out among all the competitors in the series, Josh Richards, Jonathan Davenport, and Brandon Overton. Can Earl Pearson Jr also be thrown into this mix? How about Tyler Erb? Erb has won the Opener and ran top 5 for the second race of the season. Could Tyler Erb be the Best Performance of the week?
