Third Annual Outlaw Speedway Fall Nationals Set For Sept. 21st & 22nd; WoO LM’s Make First Appearance
Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – The Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, NY is pleased to announce the running of the 3rd Annual Fall Nationals on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22, 2018. The high light of the 2 day affair will be the inaugural appearance of the highly acclaimed World of Outlaws Late Model Series on Friday the 21st presented by Tioga Downs Casino, Resort and Harness Racing Facility in Nichols, NY.
Many of the top Late Model drivers in the nation will converge on the Yates County New York speed plant in their quest to be the first ever competitor to win at the fast 4/10 of a mile clay oval and bag the $10,000 check. WoO regulars like Brandon Sheppard, Brent Larson, Rick Eckert and Shane Clanton will be on hand looking for the top prize and the bragging rights as being the first ever winner at the Outlaw Speedway.
It is also anticipated that a number of western New York and Pennsylvania Late Model competitors will make the trek to Outlaw Speedway. Names like Max Blair, Chub Frank, Boom Briggs, Dave Hess, Dan Stone and Greg Oakes are all more than capable of knocking off the top WoO regulars.
Also on the Friday night card of events will be 15 lap qualifying events for the 360 Sprints as well as the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram Modifieds. The winners and runners up of each will be locked into the front row for Saturday’s main events for both classes. It is anticipated that the Sprints will see drivers that compete in the major 360 sanctioning bodies in the northeast, the A. Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour, the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints as well as the Capitol Renegade United Racing Club (URC).
Night one’s action will also see the running of the Hoosier Tire Crate Sportsman paying $1,500 to win along with the Street Stocks paying a hefty $1,000 to the winner and a guaranteed spot in the season ending World 100 as part of Dutch Hoag Triple 7’s weekend in October. The runner-up in the Street Stock feature will also receive a guaranteed berth into the World 100.
Then on Saturday night the action will again heat up with complete shows in the 360 Sprints and the Modified Gun Slinger 50 with each class paying $5,000 to the winner. The Decker Farmers Insurance IMCA Fastshaft will be on the card along with the Doug Gross Construction Crate Late Models with each feature winner grabbing a cool $1,200. Open rule 4 Cylinder’s will race for $750 to win, the Decker Farmers Insurance Hobby Stocks feature winner will pick-up a check for $500. Also on the Saturday night card will be the sixth running of the Outlaw Speedway American Racer Tire Series for the Crate Sportsman with the winner pocketing $1,500. Rounding out the aggressive night of action will be the popular 600 Sprints racing for $600 to win.

Free Camping and parking is available all weekend long and free rides on the Outlaw Speedway Monster Truck “Outlaw Crusher” will be available both nights.
By popular demand Chicken Bar B Q’s will be cooking each day and there will be a DJ onboard both evenings.
