Features From Day One Of Outlaw Speedway’s Fall Nationals Pushed To Sunday Due To Weather
Story By: PAUL SZMAL / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – The World Of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series made its first ever appearance at Outlaw Speedway on night number one of the Fall Nationals, presented by Tioga Downs Casino.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature came through with severe weather that pushed the remainder of the program to Sunday. The features for the World Of Outlaws Late Models, Sportsman, and Street Stocks will run Sunday at 6pm, with hot laps starting at 5:30pm. Rain checks from Friday night’s show will be honored on Sunday.
World of Outlaws Late Model heats were won by Shane Clanton, Chase Junghans, and Mike Marlar. Fast time in qualifying was set by Shane Clanton at a 13.869, which establishes a track record for the division.
Outlaw Hoosier Tire Sportsman heats were won by Dave Marcuccilli, Steve Gray, and Garrett Rushlow.
Street Stock heats were won by CJ Guererri, Gene Sharpsteen, and Dylan Cecce.
The second half of the Outlaw Speedway Fall Nationals, presented by Tioga Downs Casino, will be headlined by the 360 Sprints and Friendly Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Outlaw Modifieds, plus the Outlaw Crate Sportsman Series, IMCA Fast Shaft Series, Crate Late Models, 4 Cylinders, Marion Decker Agency Hobby Stocks, and 600 Sprints.
