Rain Forces DIRTcar 358-Modified Series To Postpone Event At Mohawk Thursday
Story By: JOE GRABIANOWSKI / DIRTCAR – HOGANSBURG, NY – Due to persistent rains at Mohawk International Speedway, Mohawk management and DIRTcar officials have been forced to abandon the attempt on Thursday’s DIRTcar 358 Modified Series race.
39 drivers came out to support the Series race, and track workers did everything they could to keep the track in racing condition. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas and the rain carried on throughout the evening.
DIRTcar Officials and Mohawk International Speedway are actively seeking a date to reschedule. Fans should save their tickets to use for the to-be-announced makeup date.
