RPW’s Hot Mic With Modified Driver Chad Jeseo: Double Features At The Valley
Story By: RYAN HILL / RPW – AVERILL PARK, NY – RPW’S “HOT MIC” presented by Blue Cord Media is where drivers speak directly to the fans about a specific topic. In today’s column Lebanon Valley Speedway big block modified driver Chad Jeseo shares his thoughts on last week’s double features at the valley of speed.
Chad and his RC Concrete / Scott Hamlin (Snap-On) #25 PMC chassis powered by Bedell Racing Engines modified finished the night with a pair of seventh place finishes. Double features are always a precarious situation for any team, Chad’s pair of sevenths kept him in the top 10 for the Lebanon Valley Speedway point’s championship battle, and here is what Chad had to say about the night.
BEFORE THE DOUBLE FEATURES:
“Most drivers and teams cringe on double features, and all the fans love them. It is a night that can go very bad or very good, our last double feature night was very bad for us and hopefully this coming week our outcome is good. “
CHAD POST DOUBLE FEATURES:
“I am very happy to leave with a pair of sevenths; it is a lot better than our last night of double features. Our car was very good and we were able to try a few different things on Saturday. Some were for the better, and some were not. Sometimes it is hard being a younger big block modified team with minimal notes to fall back on, but to leave with the car in one piece and a pair of top tens, I am happy.
CHAD ON THE STATE OF THE 25 TEAM:
“Our PMC car has been great, and the support from Pete has been second to none. We are still searching for those extra three tenths of a second to be able to drive to the front. We need to focus more on what the track is going to be like for the feature and not focus on the problems or issues we might have had in a heat race. You can make two good adjustments for the better and one wrong one that leaves you sitting in the feature wishing you did this instead of that.”
Chad and the 25 team will be racing next on Saturday August, 26th at Lebanon Valley Speedway.
