Dietrich Joining WoO Sprints At Lernerville & Williams Grove; All Stars At Tri-City
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – In hopes of earning all four major prizes up for grabs during the next six days, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich will join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions during the next segment of his 2017 campaign, all launching Tuesday evening, July 18, during the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.
Dietrich will pilot the Tom Buch-owned/Apex/Pace Performance/Sweeney Cars/No. 13 during his upcoming visit to Lernerville Speedway, working to outperform the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series for a $25,000 payday.
World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition will continue for Danny Dietrich on Friday and Saturday, July 21-22, with the Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway. Back in the driver’s seat of the familiar Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Pace Performance/No. 48, the two-day showcase will be headlined with a $20,000-to-win main event on Saturday evening. Dietrich is a former World of Outlaws main event winner at The Grove, scoring the 2016 National Open worth $25,000.
Dietrich’s weekend will conclude on Sunday evening, July 23, with Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions action at the Tri-City Raceway Park near Franklin, Pennsylvania. The $5,000 program will end a three-day sweep through Western Pennsylvania for “America’s Series.” Like the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, Dietrich is a 2016 Arctic Cat All Star main event winner, scoring victories at Selinsgrove (PA) Speedway and Lincoln (PA) Speedway. He will pilot Tom Buch’s No. 13 during his visit to Franklin.
“I can’t say enough about everyone involved with both of these race teams. It takes a lot of work and a lot of time to keep everything flowing in the right direction,” Danny Dietrich said. “Tom Buch and I have made a lot of progress this year, and I think that was most noticeable during Ohio Sprint Speedweek. Gary Kauffman gives me great equipment. He’s been behind me from day one. We are all definitely looking forward to a busy week with the World of Outlaws and All Stars.”
Danny Dietrich will enter the week with seven victories to his credit thus far in 2017, most recently earning a top-five finish during feature action at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, July 15. The Gettysburg native is still on top of the Central PA Sprint Series presented by Hoseheads point standings.
