Story By: STEVEN OVENS / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – Kibbe Concrete and the New York State Stock Car Association will team up to present the racing card on Saturday night at “New York’s Toughest Bullring.”
The special event of the night will see the Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks go fifty laps in distance, for a $750 top prize. This race will see a bolstered payout throughout the Street Stock field and will serve as one of the several tune-ups in 2017 for Woodhull’s annual hundred lap special at the end of September.
Representatives from the capital district-based NYSSCA program will be in attendance as well as for their annual safety award night. It is also Woodhull’s annual ‘Christmas in July’ special, which will see countless bicycles raffled off in different age groups. An effort that supports and engages the sport’s youngest fans, creating lasting memories at their local dirt track.
Little Miss Woodhull will also be crowned, and a final tally announced as to how many boxes of food will be donated to the Woodhull Food Bank.
