Zearfoss To Follow Entire PA Sprint Speedweek Schedule
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Splitting seat time between his familiar Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/No. 3Z, and the Aaron Long-owned/H&N Landscaping/RV 4 Wheel Drive/Leahys Auto Body & Towing/No. 58, Brock Zearfoss will tackle the entire Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek schedule in 2017, joining the best of the best in Pennsylvania Posse country for ten nights of competition at seven different facilities between June 30 and July 9.
Zearfoss, a one-time winner during main event competition in 2017, will pilot his own Brock Zearfoss Racing entry during all Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek programs other than Williams Grove Speedway. At The Grove, Zearfoss will pilot the Aaron Long-owned No. 58.
The 2017 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek schedule will take Zearfoss to Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, Hagerstown (MD) Speedway, Path Valley Speedway Park, Grandview Speedway, and Selinsgrove Speedway. All events will award a minimum of $5,000.
“We are excited to get Speedweek started,” Brock Zearfoss explained. “Things are really coming together nicely for both teams. I think we have the potential to be up front every night. We need to be smart and use every lap to our advantage. I can’t thank everyone involved. I am blessed to have the opportunity to drive two different cars in 2017. Everyone works hard and continues to stay focused. I’m ready to get the ten days of racing started.”
During Brock Zearfoss’ most recent sprint car start, the “Jonestown Jet” scored a fifth place finish at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on Saturday, June 24. Zearfoss is currently fourth in the Port Royal Speedway track championship chase, still pursuing a first-ever Central Pennsylvania track championship.
