In their first year of existence at Freedom Motorsports Park, the Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds continue each and every week to display a competitiveness that has thrilled the crowd. Shayne Piece of St Catherines, ON, has captured two of the first three races. Pierce lowered the unofficial track record when he turned a time of 14.318 during his heat win on June 9. However, it is the only driver to finish in the top five every week, Buffalo’s Adam Hilton, who is the current point leader over Pierce. Hilton has garnered two thirds and one second place finish and is close to opening the door to victory lane.
The Pioneer Ford Street Stocks will run in the second annual Bixby Hill Shootout which will pay the winner $750. Last year’s event was taken by Butch Zimmerman and you can look for another exciting event on Friday.
Defending Tidds Towing Sportsman Champion Brad Rouse took down the win last week and that has vaulted him into the point lead. Two time winners, Dennis Cummings in the Pioneer Ford Street Stocks and Brad Shepard in the Danny Heineman & Sons Plumbing Mini Stocks lead their respective divisions.
