All Stars Sprints Set For Attica Raceway Park Doubleheader On September 3rd & 4th
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / ALL STAR CIRCUIT OF CHAMPIONS – BROWNSBURG, IN – As tradition has it, the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will take to the highbanks of Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, over Labor Day weekend, set to invade the home of “Ohio’s Finest Racing” on Friday and Saturday, September 3-4.
Dubbed the Attica Ambush, the two-day All Star Circuit of Champions showcase will award a total winner’s share equaling $15,000; $5,000 on Friday and $10,000 on Saturday.
The “Steel City Outlaw” Tim Shaffer and St. Helena, California’s Rico Abreu were the big winners during the 2020 edition of Attica Raceway Park’s Amush doubleheader. Shaffer scored the $5,000 preliminary victory with Abreu walking away with $10,000 at the conclusion of Saturday’s program. Over 30 entries made the call for Saturday’s finale.
“Sunshine” Tyler Courtney will enter Labor Day weekend as the current All Star championship point leader. The Indianapolis, Indiana-native is an eight-time Series winner thus far in 2021 with his most recent victory occurring at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, August 26.
Rudeen Racing’s Cory Eliason, the recent Kramer Klash champion at Lincoln Speedway on August 28, is currently second in the All Star driver championship, followed by “Hunter Percent” Hunter Schuerenberg, Republic, Ohio’s Cap Henry, and Angola, Indiana’s Zeb Wise, the 2021 Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race champion for $26,000.
