Woodhull Raceway Welcomes Patriot Sprint Tour For Final ’21 Appearance Saturday Night
Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – After a successful Patriot Sprint Tour event on May 15, 2021, the Woodhull Raceway will welcome back to the facility the Mike Emhoff led PST for their second and final appearance of the 2021 campaign.
“The Patriot 360 Sprints have always been a big draw at the track, stated Woodhull owners and promoters, Terry and Niki Brewer. Even though this is not what many would consider “Sprint Country”, the fans just love watching them try and tame the high banked facility.”
The Cobra, Chuck Hebing piloting the Wilkins RV Sponsored machine will try and repeat his May 15 performance by sweeping both PST events at Woodhull in 2021. No Panic, Davey Franek chased Hebing across the line in the May event.
In addition to a full PST Show several of Woodhull’s weekly divisions will be in competition including the Insinger Performance Modifieds as well as the NAPA 602 Crate Sportsman. The Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks will be in action along with the Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks as well as the Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s Mini Stocks and the Johnson Auto Supply FED Divisions.
The Cummings Trucking RUSH Crate Late Models and the Wicked Tee’s Warriors are scheduled to have the night off.
With only three point shows including the August 21 event it’s still anybody’s bet who will win their respective class championship.
Larry’s Latrines along with S & D Pools of Avoca will be at the track to co-sponsor the event.
S & D Pools is located in downtown Avoca, NY and they specialize in new swimming pool installation, as well as pool chemicals and consultation.
