Great 8 Show Plus 270 Micro Sprints Set For Woodhull Raceway This Saturday Night
Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – With the weeks winding down and the point battles heating up in all the regular divisions the Woodhull Raceway will welcome the 270 Micro Sprints to the track for their lone event of the 2021 season on Saturday, August 14.
For over a decade the 270’s have thrilled the fans with their lightning-fast speeds around the high banked one-third of a mile clay oval and the drivers that have supported the track over the years always enjoy returning to the popular Steuben County oval.
In addition to the 270 Micro’s, it will be a Great 8 Show featuring all of Woodhull’s regular weekly classes including the premier Insinger Performance Modifieds, the Cummings Trucking RUSH Crate Late Models as well as the NAPA Crate Sportsman and the Joe Willcox Performance Street Stocks. Also, in action it will be the Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks along with a pair of Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s sponsored divisions including the Mini Stock and Youth Warrior’s. The Johnson Auto Supply Front Wheel Drive’s round out the aggressive card of racing.
Gates for the August 14 show open at 4:30 pm for both pit and grandstand entry. The first green flag will drop at 6:30 pm.
Track owners, Terry and Niki Brewer will welcome representatives of the Pepsi Cola Company to the track along with Twin Tier Detailing.
Pepsi is the official drink beverage of the Woodhull Raceway with the marriage between the two going back to the Williams Family ownership of the facility over fifty years ago.
Twin Tier Detailing of Painted Post, New York will join Pepsi as co-sponsor of the August 14 event.
