Busy Week Coming Up For Competitors At Cornwall Motor Speedway

Story By: MARTIN BÉLANGER / CORNWALL MOTOR SPEEDWAY – CORNWALL, ONT – A busy week ahead at Cornwall Motor Speedway with 3 events in 7 days which will include a very special event on Wednesday evening with the Big Blocks in town!

Farnham Ale & Lager Canadian / Weekend Warriors Pro-Stock Series

The Pro-Stock will have the spotlight on them this Sunday, July 18 with the highest paid event of the year with a 50-lap event paying $2,000 to the winner, with that money on the line, the biggest field of full fender car of the season. A very full schedule is on the docket with Pro-Stock, Sportsman, Lightning Sprints, Mod-Lite, Novice Sportsman and Vintage are on the card.

Admission cost will be $15 for adults in general admission, $5 for kids between 6 and 17 years old and free for kids 5 years and under. Admission price for pits will be $30. Pit gates are opening at 3pm with general admission setting to open at 5pm and racing is scheduled to start at 6:30pm.

Ramone Pizzeria Canadian Big-Block Series

Big Blocks are back in town for 1 night! The Ramone Pizzeria Canadian Big-Block Series is making a stop at Cornwall on Wednesday, July 21 with a 75-lap event paying $3,000 to win and also a bonus $1,000 to the best 358 driver in the field. Nearly 20 Big Blocks are expected to run this Series along with our regulars. Sportsman, Novice Sportsman and Mini-Stock are on the schedule.

Admission cost will be $30 for adults in general admission, $15 for kids between 12 and 17 years old and free for kids 11 years and under. Admission price for pits will be $40. Pit gates are opening at 3pm with general admission setting to open at 5pm and racing is scheduled to start at 6:30pm with time trials followed by heats at 7pm.

Dash for Cash Night on July 25th

We are closing off July with a Dash for Cash evening as we are giving the opportunity to several sponsors to get their names out there to sponsor a Dash in the class of their choice, so far we have 5 dash confirmed courtesy of Next Level Home Improvement and Glengarry Truck Centre. A regular night of racing for our 358-Modified, Sportsman, Pro-Stock, Mini-Stock and Novice Sportsman. The Lightning Sprints are also on the racing schedule.
