Paul McMahan & CJB Motorsports Team Race With All Star Sprints Near Home
Story By: NATALIE JACKSON / CJB MOTORSPORTS – CARLISLE, PA – The CJB Motorsports team was in action with the Flo Racing All Star Circuit pf Champions this past weekend.
Racing action at Lernerville Speedway near Sarver, Pa. was rained out on Friday, April 30th. The team opened May at Sharon (Ohio) Speedway on Saturday the 1st by timing in 15th, finished 6th in their heat race, 4th in the B feature and charged from 24th to 9th in the A feature. The following night at Tri-Cities Speedway near Franklin, Pa. McMahan timed in 9th, finished 6th in his heat race, won the B feature and went from 21st to 8th in the A feature.
“We passed a lot of cars this weekend,” said McMahan, driver of the #23 RE Pierson Construction, Nyce, Crete & Landis Block and Concrete, C&S Lawn and Landscape, High Performance Lubricants, Ecynbro Trucking machine. “Certianly need to qualify better but we will get there. We rebounded with a pair of hard charger awards and top-10 finishes. The speed is there. We just need to qualify better.”
The team will be back in action this weekend at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.
