Craig Von Dohren Earns First Modified Win Of 2021 Season At Grandview Speedway

Information By: GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Craig Von Dohren was able to take the top spot late in the 30 lap TP Trailers Modified feature and charge to his first win at Grandview this season. The 25-lap feature for T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman was won by Logan Bauman.

Rising star Briggs Danner closed out a big weekend as he won the USAC East Coast Sprint race at Grandview Saturday night after having also won the Sprint feature race at Bedford, PA Speedway on Friday night.

Another of the rising young talents in sprint car racing Steve Drevicki followed Danner who took command of the race on the 2nd lap. Third place went to Alex Bright followed by Bruce Buckwalter and Tommy Kunsman Jr.

Brett Kressley the Modified point leader going into the night’s events finished second followed by Jeff Strunk who came from 24th starting spot. Early race leader Doug Manmiller came home fourth with Nate Brinker finishing fifth.

For much of the Sportsman main event B.J.Joly set the pace but when the checkered fell it was Logan Bauman taking the win followed by Joly. Third spot went to Mike Stofflet. Chris Esposito grabbed fourth and Cody Manmiller came home in fifth place.

Next up on the schedule at Grandview is another triple-header show of racing action featuring the T.P.Trailers Modifieds, T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman and the Outlaw Vintage Racers. It all gets the green at 7:30 p.m. May 22nd. Adult admission is $14 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free.

Then on Saturday, May 29th it is a doubleheader card of Modifieds and Sportsman.

That very same weekend, Sunday, May 30, the popular Thunder on the Hill Series offers Roaring Triple 20s Big Block/358 Modified racing along with Sportsman and Outlaw Vintage Racing Series with a 7:30 p.m. starting time.
