Short Track Super Series Finds New Sponsor For North Region Events During 2021 Season

Story By: BRETT DEYO / SHORT TRACK SUPER SERIES – HURLOCK, MD – Two growing entities have partnered for the 2021 Northeast dirt Modified season.

Hurlock Auto & Speed Supply has signed on with the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco to present the series’ Modified North Region in ’21.

The move continues the strong support by the Maryland-based Hurlock Auto & Speed Supply of the Short Track Super Series.

Hurlock Auto & Speed, operated by Alfred Hughes and his son-in-law, former dirt Modified driver Shawn Ward, began as the parts supplier at Del.’s Georgetown Speedway in ’16, later adding neighboring Delaware International Speedway to its regular lineup.

Growing steadily over the last five years, Hurlock Auto & Speed now accompanies the STSS as an official trackside service provider for the ‘Sunshine Swing’ in Florida, ‘Speed Showcase 200’ at Pa.’s Port Royal Speedway, ‘Cajun Swing’ in Louisiana and other long-distance ventures by the series.

Hurlock Auto & Speed is an authorized dealer for the American Racer tires and Sunoco Race Fuels utilized by the STSS in addition to a complete line of oval-track speed equipment and performance parts including Bicknell Racing Products, Bert Transmission, Strange Oval, Winters, DMI, K&N and Racing Optics, among others.

Hurlock Auto & Speed Supply will continue its sponsorship support of the ‘Diamond State 50’ STSS event at Delaware International Speedway in ’21, as well.
