Tim McCreadie Enjoyed Success At Magnolia; Won Opener; Runner-Up In Season Finale
Story By: RYAN DELPH / TIM MCCREADIE RACING – CONCORD, NC – The Paylor Motorsports team and driver Tim McCreadie closed out their version of the 2020 racing season on November 13-14 with an impressive one-two weekend finish during the annual ‘Magnolia State Cotton Pickin 100’ at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi!
In the unsanctioned weekend opener on Friday night, Tim debuted a brand-new Longhorn Chassis and promptly laid down the fastest lap in Group B during qualifying before securing the victory in his heat race.
“T-Mac” then led the last half of the 30-lapper to secure his eleventh feature win of 2020 and the $4,000 top prize ahead of Billy Moyer, Jr., Mike Marlar, Chris Madden, and Spencer Hughes.
At “The Mag” on Saturday evening, a $12,000 winner’s check was up for grabs in the finale of the ‘Magnolia State Cotton Pickin 100.’ Tim clicked off the third fastest lap in Group A during qualifying before winning another heat race in preliminary action.
The Watertown, New York star then rolled off from the pole position in the 70-lap affair and eventually garnered an impressive runner-up effort in his final event of the season behind only victor Chris Madden.
