Three All Star Circuit Of Champions Starts, Three Top Ten Finishes For Tony Stewart
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / TONY STEWART RACING – BROWNSBURG, IN – Tony Stewart and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing put together an impressive campaign in the Keystone State during the recent weekend, not only scoring three consecutive top-ten performances during All Star Circuit of Champions competition, but doing so in the heart of Pennsylvania Posse Country.
Stewart, driver of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing/Rush Truck Centers/Advance Auto Parts/Mobil 1/Ford Performance/Curb Records/Sage Fruit/FloRacing/Carquest/TechNet Professional Automotive Service/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Absolute Automation & Security/Digital Ally/J&J Auto Racing/No. 14 sprint car, earned his All Star Circuit of Champions top-ten finishes during action at Grandview Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and Bedford Speedway on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, August 27, 29 and 30. Williams Grove Speedway’s Jack Gunn Memorial, scheduled for Friday, August 28, was canceled due to weather.
“Smoke” kicked-off his weekend with a tenth-place outing during Grandview Speedway’s annual Thunder Cup, followed by an eighth-place finish during Lincoln Speedway’s inaugural Kramer Klash. Stewart concluded the PA sweep with a ninth-place finish at Bedford Speedway on Sunday.
Perhaps his most impressive stat of the weekend, Stewart’s eighth-place rally on Saturday commenced from the outside of row six. Consistency has certainly been the underlying theme for Stewart in 2020, now with 17 top-ten finishes in 24 events.
