‘Yung Money, Slammin’ Sammy & The Wild Child Among Those Aiming For Tommy Hinnershitz Classic Win At Williams Grove Friday

Information By: WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY – MECHANICSBURG, PA – ‘Yung Money, Slammin’ Sammy and the Wild Child are heading to the Grove this week!

Kyle Larson will be in action this Friday night at the Williams Grove Speedway for the Tommy Hinnershitz Classic. Larson scored his first career Williams Grove win and $15,000 payday at the Mitch Smith Memorial on July 3rd.

Multi-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion Sammy Swindell has added his name to the entry list. Swindell has 16 career Outlaws victories at the track and will be going for his first All Star Circuit of Champions win at the Mechanicsburg, PA oval.

“The Wild Child” Jac Haudenschild has announced that he’s added this Friday to his schedule for this weekend. Haudenschild will be ready to try and capture the Classic crown with the All Stars.

The most recent All Stars winner at the track was Aaron Reutzel on September 20, 2019. Reutzel ended a 50-year winless drought for the All-Stars at Williams Grove earlier last season. He will be a threat for the win at this Friday’s Tommy Hinnershitz Classic.

World of Outlaws star David Gravel and the Jason Johnson Racing #41 team are a confirmed entry for this Friday as well. The Connecticut native is always fun to watch at the Grove.

“The Madman” Kerry Madsen will be making his first Williams Grove appearance of 2020 this Friday. Madsen is always exciting to watch and a contender for the victory each time he hits the track.

Lance Dewease is a six-time Tommy Hinnershitz Classic winner with victories coming in 1995, 1996, 2003, 2009, 2017 and 2018. He’ll be aiming for another this Friday.

Ryan Smith has been strong lately in the Heffner Racing Enterprises #72. He currently sits fourth in the Lawrence Chevrolet points standings.

“The Kunkletown Kid” will be in search of his first victory of 2020 this Friday in the Classic.

New driver of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports #39, Jason Solwold, will be in action on Friday night. Solwold owns one career Williams Grove victory which came with World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in 2006.

Neptune City, New Jersey driver Kyle Reinhardt has had an impressive start to the 2020 season driving the Wayne Quackenbush owned #91.

Reinhardt rounded out the podium with a solid 3rd place finish last week on VP Fuels Night and currently finds himself 10th in the Lawrence Chevrolet points standings. He will be one to keep an eye on at the Tommy Hinnershitz Classic this Friday.
