Crate Late Model “King Of The Bullring” Set To Roll This Coming Saturday At Woodhull
Story By: STEVEN OVENS / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – A great event returns to Woodhull Raceway on Saturday night as Troups Creek Auto Parts presents the annual Crate Late Model King of the Ring as Woodhull Raceway takes the green flag for the first time in 2020.
The track will race without fans to start their season with hopes to open back up to grandstand admission in the coming weeks.
Troups Creek Auto Parts is located on State Route 36 in Troupsburg, NY and have been a loyal track sponsor for many years. They will team up with Troups Creek Heating to present Opening Night 2020, which will feature live video on Facebook courtesy of Race Pro Weekly.
The Crate Late Model King of the Ring format is pretty simple. Drivers will draw for head-to-head pairings, as they will race in two-lap ‘knockout style’ match races. The winner from each pairing will move on until a King of the Ring has been crowned.
Also on the racing card for Saturday night will be the Insinger Performance Modifieds, NAPA Crate Sportsman, Cummings Trucking-RUSH Sanctioned Crate Late Models, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks, Wicked Tees Mini Stocks, Johnson Automotive Front Wheel Drives and the Wicked Tees Warriors. Pit passes have been set at $35.
