Opening Night At Lernerville Further Postponed; Options To Reopen Being Discussed

Story By: GARY HEEMAN / LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY – SARVER, PA – Usually in the racing world, seeing the yellow come out is a bad thing. But in this alternate universe we are currently living in, “moving into the yellow” is a good thing!

While current conditions regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic will see Butler County move to the yellow phase of reopening on Friday, May 15, the status of racing at Lernerville Speedway will remain unchanged as The Action Track will once again remain closed for at least another week as this Opening Night has once again been postponed.

The Tomson family and track officials have had productive discussions with local, county, and state officials in regards to how to safely and appropriately reopen the track as soon as we get clear, concise guidance and support to do so.

Please stay tuned to our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter, as well as our official website Lernerville.com, for the latest announcements and news regarding our plans for the 2020 season. Fab4 Racing Revved up with Marburger Farm Dairy will look to make its Opening Night in 2020 a reality as soon as it is possible and will be ready to greet the World’s Finest Race Fans at the gates when that night arrives.

As businesses in our area reopen, we encourage you to patronize our local sponsors without whom racing at The Action Track would not be possible. All sponsors can be found on the bottom scroll of our home page. We hope our fans, drivers, sponsors, and employees are all safe during this time and cannot wait to see you at the track once again.
