Steel Valley Pro Stock Nationals Postponed To Later Date At Sharon Speedway
Story By: MIKE LEONE / SHARON SPEEDWAY – HARTFORD, OH – Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the management of Sharon Speedway and Penn-Ohio Series Officials have mutually agreed to postpone the “Steel Valley Pro Stock Nationals” originally scheduled for June 12-13.
A new date for the third annual event will be announced once restrictions are lifted and the 2020 season gets underway at Sharon. The postponement was deemed necessary due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 situation, and to allow the opportunity for everyone involved to properly plan and execute the region’s biggest Pro Stock event of the season.
Know however that racing still WILL take place at Sharon on Saturday, June 13 with event details to be announced pending of course that restrictions have been lifted.
Past winners of the $10,000 to-win Penn-Ohio Pro Stock “Steel Valley Nationals” include Brent Johnson in 2018 and 2019 track champion, Curt J. Bish last year.
