Caroga Creek RacePark Ready For Rotterdam Car Shows
Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / CAROGA CREEK RACEPARK – EPHRATAH, NY – With the official start of spring just a little more than a week away, all systems are a go for the inaugural season of the Caroga Creek RacePark under promoter Tom Varin.
Varin and staff have been busy during the off season getting the fast, western Fulton County facility prepared for the new season.
The first official event for the newly-named RacePark will be the annual Northeast Race Car Show at the ViaPort Rotterdam Mall in Rotterdam/Schenectady, New York. The track will have a booth all weekend at the show which begins on Friday March 13th and ends on Sunday March 15th. Numerous racers and their rides for the 2020 season will be on hand throughout the weekend as will many of the track’s friendly staff.
Following the show, the track will return to the ViaPort Rotterdam Mall two weeks later for the Fonda Speedway Car Show. The show will be held from Friday March 27th through Sunday March 29th. Like the earlier show, the Caroga Creek RacePark will have a booth all weekend with numerous racers, their rides and staff members on hand to greet race fans.
All drivers, in all divisions and classes are encouraged to fill out the announcer’s profile forms and return them to track announcer Toby LaGrange at the show. The forms will be available at the booth on Friday evening through the close of the show on Sunday. They can be returned to LaGrange at the booth or via email.
