Brock Zearfoss Rallies From 13th To Finish Fourth Sunday Afternoon At Lincoln Speedway

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – It was a productive afternoon in the Pigeon Hills for the ‘Jonestown Jet,’ concluding his visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway with a top-five outcome after starting 13th on the main event grid.

For Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, the top-five finish was a case of redemption, as the team was denied a top-five during Lincoln’s annual Icebreaker just one week prior. The culprit, wreaking havoc with just a few circuits remaining, was a broken shock mount.

Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./ C&D Rigging Inc./BAPS Auto Paints & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/Klick Lewis Cars/J.P. Adamsky Trucking/No. 3Z sprint car, concluded his rally from 13th in the fourth position, chasing Brian Montieth, Danny Dietrich, and eventual winner, Dylan Cisney, to the final checkers.

The Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native kicked-off his afternoon with a fifth-place finish during his respective heat race, ultimately resulting in his seventh row starting spot.

“I can’t say enough about this team. We have a great thing going right now and I’m super proud of everyone involved. The guys never give up and they proved that this afternoon with a great car that pushed me from 13th to fourth. We are pretty pumped up,” Brock Zearfoss said, who now owns a trio of top-five outcomes in 2020. “Sometimes it’s hard to build momentum with only one start on the weekends, but I’m confident we have everything clicking in all the right places.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with a pair of Central Pennsylvania stops on Saturday and Sunday, March 7 & 8. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ will return to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday before making the trek to the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace’ on Sunday, March 8. Sunday’s Port Royal Speedway season opener will award a $5,000 top prize.
