Fonda Speedway Race Car Show Set For Via Port Rotterdam March 27th-29th

Story By: BRETT DEYO / FONDA SPEEDWAY – FONDA, NY – Annually, the pre-season car show at Via Port Rotterdam serves as a kickoff to race season at Fonda Speedway.

This year, the BD Motorsports Media LLC management team of the Track of Champions will present the Fonda Speedway Race Car Show Friday-Sunday March 27-29.

Fonda Speedway staff will be on hand to distribute 2020 race schedules and will have season passes, memberships and brand-new speedway apparel from Bob Hilbert Sportswear on sale.

Race cars of all varieties are welcome to attend the show. Registration is now open. Space is limited. To register, contact Angela Hanson by e-mail at fondaspeedwayangela@gmail.com. Move-in for the show takes place on Thursday night, March 26 after mall hours. Move-out takes place on Sunday, March 27.

Fonda Speedway regulars attending the show will receive a complimentary pit pass for a Saturday night show at the speedway. There will also be drawings for three American Racer Tires and a 54-gallon drum of Sunoco Race Fuels.

Fonda Speedway will also be represented with a display at the Syracuse Motorsports Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, N.Y., Saturday-Sunday March 14-15.

On-track action on the newly resurfaced half-mile oval gets underway on Saturday, April 11 with an Open Practice session. One week later – on April 18 – the first official green flag flies with the Sunoco Modifieds, Crate 602 Sportsman, Limited Sportsman, Pro Stocks and Roberts Towing & Recovery Street Stocks in competition.
