Dirt Track Heroes Show To Host Dorney Park & Mahoning Valley Speedway Autograph Session

Story By: JUSTIN BELTRAME / DIRT TRACK HEROES – EASTON, PA – Dorney Park and Mahoning Valley Speedway drivers past and present will be on hand for autographs and a Meet & Greet Saturday, March 7 at 2 PM at the Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes Car Show at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton, PA.

The 13th edition of this popular auto racing event will open Friday, March 6 and continue through Sunday, March 8. Event activities will take place at the main stage area in the former Bon Ton store in the Palmer Park Mall.

Many of your favorite drivers, many who are Hall Of Fame inductees at the America On Wheels museum and Dorney-Mahoning Hall of Fame will be on hand as well as the current day stars that compete weekly at the Mahoning Valley Speedway. A busy schedule of events is in the planning stages for the Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes show fast approaching, race car registration forms are flowing in along with vendor and sponsor commitments. “During the show planning the name that kept coming up was Doug Hoffman”, stated event organizer Justin Beltrame. “The support we get each year from Dorney Park, Nazareth, Flemington and other tracks, made it feel like the perfect fit to Doug Hoffman,” noted Beltrame.

Associate sponsor IRCO Community Federal Credit Union is back on-board for 2020. The 2020 event is also dedicated to the racing promotional team of Steve and Ed Pados, both instrumental in the past success of this very popular show.

With the blessing from new Mahoning Valley Speedway promotor and bother Keith, Beltrame and team are in full swing to honor the local legend on both the Dirt and Asphalt that was taken from us too soon. The Tri-State historical group has confirmed that the Hoffman restored car will be in attendance all weekend long and will move to the center of the main stage for the tribute. There will also be other Hoffman memorabilia on hand for the special event. Former competitors are welcome to join the discussion and share stories about Doug on Sunday as we honor him.
